LeAnn Englin
LeAnn graduated from Wayne State College with a double major in Animal Science and Communication. She is the office manager at Central Veterinary Clinic and has worked here since December 2012. Her and her husband Garret live on an acreage outside of Orange City with their three children. They have a multitude of animals including Cooper the Corgi, a myriad of different show animals (cows, pigs, sheep), and also commercial livestock on family farms in Nebraska and Minnesota. When not busy at the clinic, LeAnn enjoys attending her children’s activities, competing in open livestock shows, cooking up a storm, and spending time with her family.

Kayla Dekkers
Kayla has been with us at Central Vet Clinic since 2013. She and her husband Brandon live just outside of Ireton, IA. There they like to raise chickens, have some very spoiled dogs and cats and also have a hog barn. They have 3 children. Kason, Marcie, and Lenny who keep them very busy! In her spare time Kayla enjoys spending time running, riding 4 wheeler with the kids, boating, and hanging out with her family & twin sister.

Karrigan Glade
Karrigan started with us in the spring of 2020 as a receptionist after graduating from Sioux Center Public High School. She and her husband Kayden currently live in Sioux Center with their dog Kobe (Shiba Inu). When not in the clinic, she enjoys baking and being around her family.

Oscar Ramirez
Oscar joined the CVC team on September 10, 2018. He previously worked at a local dairy farm for 8 years, primarily involved with herd health and calf care. Oscar and his wife Saira moved to Sioux Center from Illinois in 2010. They have 3 kids together: Victor (12 years old), Luis (11), and Vanessa (9). His family enjoys spending time playing soccer and baseball.

Josee Abbas
Josee started at Central Vet Clinic in the fall of 2021, after graduating from Sioux Center High School. She lives in Ireton, but enjoys visiting her parents acreage to spend time with her family and their family dog, Ajax. In her free time she enjoys going on walks, hiking, boating, baking, and spending time with friends.

Kaitlyn Calkhoven
Kaitlyn started at Central Vet Clinic in the spring of 2024. She graduated from Unity in 2022, and continued working on a dairy near Orange City until she began with us. She currently lives on an acreage outside of Ireton with her 4 horses, cats, and Australian Shepherd, Ollie. She is engaged to Trey Haverhals and they will be getting married in June 2025. She enjoys riding horse, gardening, hiking, going on walks, and being outdoors.
